By crossing the 24-hour period of the earth's rotation with the 29 1/2-day lunar cycle, the Gamma Tide Watch calculates the tides in accordance with how they are created. 12-hour, 25-minute tide height indicator corresponds to a "perfect" diurnal tide, but it can be used to estimate semidiurnal and other cyclic tides all over the world. Since there is no computer involved, the Gamma Tide is completely immune to the Y2K Bug. The tide watch makes a great nautical gift or any outdoor enthusiast.
